My Peace Diet book arrived today!

I am so excited for this book! It arrived earlier than expected. Thanks Amazon!

The Peace Diet book is written by Dr. Terry Shintani, a very humble yet award-winning author in the US. He is a doctor, lawyer, businessman, broadcaster, and the list goes on (you can see his profile in wikipedia). Even though he has such a high profile, he remains down to earth and pursues his mission: to help people. Dr. Shintani is like a distant relative of mine, I call him Uncle. He has been my online client since 2007 and the Peace Diet book is the latest project that I have helped him with, together with two other Filipinos (Graphic designer and Web Developer). Dr. Shintani is also a mission partner of Menschville, which is the missions department of our church that serves improverished kids in the Philippines and around Asia.

I want you guys to check out his amazing book. It is a life changing one. Having the right diet means that you are giving value to what the Lord has given you. It will give you peace, which will lead to a life lived to the fullest! I believe that is what God wants us to do with our health too. How can we follow Jesus and serve His people if we do not take care of our health? See how Dr. S wrote this 'theology of health'.

All proceeds of the Peace Diet book go to missionary works in Hawaii and Asia. Dr. S is not about the money but about helping you and the world.

Are Homosexuals Judged by Christians?

Each person has a flag to surrender before God. We are all guilty of sin. We all have struggles and battles to win everyday. But in all of these, there is hope. All we need to do is surrender the whole thing to God. This is the reason why Jesus came down so we will all be saved, sanctified, and completely restored until the end of it all. He died for us. But the problem is, most of us fail to accept that whole truth. Some just take a part of it.

Homosexuals are not judged by Christians. They are being INFORMED of this truth. Thus they are never hated but loved by us. We Christians are speaking on the basis of the Word of God. It is God's position where we are speaking from. God's stand is our stand. Homosexuality is a sin (as described in Lev. 18:22, 20:13, 1Cor.6:9-10, Ro.1:26-28). God condemns this sin. We are informing you these because we love you. On the other hand, I also want to open myself to you as a sinner who needs a Savior. I have flaws too. We need to understand each other, help each other, and love each other before our time is through.

I pray that the Philippines stand for its position as a Christian nation. I also hope and pray that rational ppl will ask wisdom from God and stop engineering this world as they move forward with their pursuit to make homosexuality something that is normal and healthy to the society.

I appeal to the LGBT community to not push the law that allows same sex marriage in this nation for it will never win, thus it will just make you all disappointed and bitter over time. The root issue should be destroyed instead. The rampant homosexual activities is the issue. We need God so we can overcome this issue.

God's plan for humankind includes procreation. It was a command for the man and woman. Apparently, same-sex marriage is not the system that God designed to respond to that command. Homosexual activities are clearly unbiblical along with adultery, fornication, and others mentioned in the above scripture references. It was condemned many times in the Old Testament and the New Testament.

I know this truth hurts. I also am hurt for you. If only I can give you the step by step process of getting out from that pit, I will. But all I know is that, nothing is impossible with God. If you surrender the desire of your flesh, God will help you. Your homosexual urges will be gone I believe through the power of the Holy Spirit. You need to believe. You need to have faith that God has designed your body and therefore He has the power to cast out the demons that try to deceive you and program your mind and body with lies.

I do not have the same struggle. But I had sins in the past. And God helped me get out from the pit. And everyday, He is sanctifying me. There are also thousands of people like you who can testify that God has rescued them. You have hope. Jesus Christ is our hope.

God is so patient with all of us. Homosexuality and other sins have been around even from the early age of this world. It is taking so long for Him to let His judgment fall upon the sinners because He is giving the chance for all to repent. However, we don't really know until when.

Meet my New Mate!

My new roommate, work out mate, eat mate, play mate, study mate... a cool mate indeed. My NeiNei! This mate has been so friendly to me since she met me in Daraga, Albay, in our church (HQ) at Sagpon. She is a street cat. She seems to have a schedule for visiting us in the church like early in the morning, lunch, late afternoon and evening. I feed her like anything and she eats all from biscuits to chips (I know I should have not given her junk foods!). She is pregnant and I was really worried that while she goes out and stroll down the street, she might give birth one day somewhere. So I decided to bring her home. Now she's here! I'm so relieved. Keeping my fingers crossed as I wait for her babies.


In the morning, when I read the Bible out loud, she's listening too. And this morning, after my work out, I sang this favorite upbeat Hillsong piece for the first time with her. But I think she's too shy to have a duet tho.

Love Yourself - Justin Bieber (Chibi Cover)

At first I was attracted by the musicality of this song by Justin Bieber in his album "Purpose". But then I said hang on let me check the lyrics. At some point, not like anybody else who want to sing the song for someone who broke his or her heart, I felt like somebody is singing this for me. This is because I always find myself setting standards that are unfavorably going to happen.

The Bible says we are to love God above all else. And next to that love is the horizontal one, yourself on the right and others on the left. It should be equal. Don't love yourself more or less than others and vice versa. There are times that we tend to cross that thin line of loving either one side more than the other side. God said in John 15 that we are to attain the balance.

Bieber's song was sarcastically designed with the words that may not sound really pleasing. But it's a reality. A person may just trample your pure love on the ground and then you will just later move on. Moving on is quite hard. It's very critical. But when you finish that process, you will realize that the freedom you have gained is actually a gift. Being a prisoner of the wrong love is a total torment. And being free from such torment is bliss.

With this song I thought that people who are in the wrong relationship should not just change the object of his or her love. He or she should also change himself or herself.

On another note, I pray that Bieber continues his journey to change for the glory of God. I also pray for myself and the whole world to know God better and understand the real meaning of love through His Son Jesus Christ.
