2006 was the darkest year of my life. That was when I lost my mom to heart failure. When she was alive, I was in significant dependency on her because of my introvert personality. I can hardly speak to people, almost completely unable to socialize. I cannot decide for myself and so I need her all the time. Losing her was an unimaginable thing.
The depression as the aftermath of that page in my life is probably one of the unheard stories of my life as many people would see me as a person with a positive outlook. Nobody knew I wanted to die when she died then. But God rescued me when all I see was gray. I thought I would never see colors in my life again. When I met Jesus in my life, everything changed. I can breathe, I can move, I can walk.. and yes, talk too! 12 Years have passed since I wrote this song, "Sun" along with "Show me the way". It is apparently about that time when God showed me that He has a great plan- an amazing plan for those who seek and follow Him. Today, I can still see Him painting the colors while I am left in awe of His precious works. I pray that you get to see the colors too! I believe that God has a wonderful plan for you.
