Are you single?

Are you STILL single?

Feeling old and annoyed about what other people say regarding your being single?
Tired of the social stigma?

This is your time to be free from that stigma!
Actually,
you should have been free since long ago,
but of course it's not too late.

I am Lani, from Albay and I'd say, I can feel you.
I am 35 and still single.
But hey, I am living the life that most people,
even some married people, are jealous of.
And I want you to experience the same
peace, joy, love and hope today. I do still have
the desire to marry but no rush! I will tell you why
you should not rush whether you are my age or even older
or well yeah, younger.

Here are the 7 A-W-E-S-O-M-E Steps that I would suggest:

STEP 1
ANALYZE yourself and the problems in and out. Leave the Past Behind you. Forgive.
STEP 2
Be WISE on your perspective about Marriage. Understand what it is and its true value in one's life.
STEP 3
EMPHASIZE the beauty behind being single. Focus on the positives but reckon with the negatives, which you get to step on, to push you to the top.
STEP 4
SERVE and don't be served. Life is not about you. You have a mission to accomplish.
STEP 5
OPTIMIZE life to serve God and others better. Keep yourself healthy- physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
STEP 6
MEDITATE on God's word and keep praying while waiting. Your forever is coming!
STEP 7
ENGAGE yourself to the will of God and He will give you the desires of your heart according to His will and time.

How Do You Deal With Depression?

somebody asked me, "how do you deal with depression?"

I said:

All people around this planet experience depression at certain levels, I myself have also been down there and fought hard. Over the years, I've learned that when this virus attacks ones mind, the only key to the exit door is Jesus. You need to move the spotlight on Him not on you. Because depression is magnified when you get that spotlight and make it brighter on you. Move that to Him because at the end of the day, IT IS NOT ABOUT YOU. He has to shine brighter, then you will be saved by His light.

Some would say it is easier said than done. I agree. Depression is not easy. You have to shake it off every single day. It is serious. But God is greater. He will outshine you and your depression. All you need to do is to just let Him be God.

And when He sets you free, know that you are set free indeed. Don't get back. When you have overcome, don't turn back. When you follow Jesus, THERE IS NO TURNING BACK! Do not doubt the power of the Most High God. He has overcome the world and that includes your depression.

When I say these things, people under "depression" would tell to my face, "shut up, you are being churchy.. I know all these things, you don't have to preach to me!"

So I will just shut my mouth but continue to preach using my own body and heart. At the end of it all, love conquers all. That's how Jesus won me.

Whenever I feel depressed, I cry. We need it! But we've got to get up again and remember Jesus' love and mission on earth. THERE IS A TASK THAT HAS TO BE COMPLETED AND WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF TIME!1 I need to pack up and follow Him. Yes I am wounded, I am bruised, I am limped, but again it is not about me. It is Him whom I follow. My God is greater than my wounds.

Stop talking about YOU and start talking about HIM.
