What if your son,daughter, or younger sibling , whom you love dearly, has been into drugs. Say he/she has murdered a person and now, he/she will be executed. You love him/her and you don't want him/her to get beheaded even though you know he/she has sinned. If there's a way for you to take his position, will you?
Most people will say yes to this, especially parents.
Remember what most parents say?
"isusubo ko nalang ibibigay ko pa sa anak ko.."
Why? Because of unconditional love. A parent denies himself/herself for the sake of his/her child.
You know what, God also feels that way for you. For me.
He has laid down His Godship and became man, to humbly reach us. He suffered from the worst execution ever made. Ever made by whom? The people whom He created. But He is forgiving. He said, "Father forgive them for they don't know what they are doing."
To think, we are all going to be executed eternally in fire.
But He is willing to take the sins that we have done. Because we are His children.
He loves you.
He carried the cross. And died. For you and me.
Because of our redemption from sins, the ultimate love has been witnessed.
Think about this love.
Think about what you have done. Amazingly, you are forgiven.
At His expense.
That's true love.
Greatest love.
Praise our Savior for all He has done.
Praise Him.
Have you accepted His love?
You have the option to accept or not.
He does not force you to accept Him.
But if you allow Him to reside in your heart,
He will be with you forever.
