Facing the New Normal After the Typhoon #RollyPH

This was my post just a few minutes ago on facebook. Today we have a new typhoon 10 days after RollyPh. Albay is being under signal #2. People in my town especially here in brgy. SanFrancisco are still in trauma. A little rain leads everyone to fear. Whenever the captain shrieks outside alerting everyone to evacuate by force is not fun at all. Eveytime I try to pack my things, I try to keep holding the tears and the great pound in my heart. 

Many times I feel weak when I browse through windy.com to check the traverse of each LPA or tropical depression or typhoon. But I thought I need to remain strong for my family, for I stand as their head spiritually speaking. They have to see a strong spiritual leader in the house. 

Faith is all we have. God is our only hope. If they see a weak leader in me, this family will hardly survive. Noone will finish well. Not that I play the messianic role, but I just sense the LORD has called me for this family. I need to do my task well for my LORD's glory. So whatever happens, I trust in the LORD for He knows it all. No matter how confused we could be, I will respect His sovereignty. 

Our House Struck by Typhoon Rolly's Mudflow

We thought #TyphoonRolly will be just another strong typhoon. We did not expect that mudflow will come. But our household was spared from the boulders but sadly some of our neighbors were not. It's heartbreaking. 200 houses were destroyed. Let's pray for them. Also for the government. President Duterte was here earlier and promises to help. Let's pray that everyone will be in full resilience by God's grace. Fighting!
