Treating People Right
Doers of the WORD (not just listeners)
The second chapter of James tells us how to show that we are truly the children of God. We should not judge and it is important that we remember Christ’s second commandment to us : “ Love thy neighbour as thyself”.
We are not the Judge, God is. In the end, all of us will stand before God and we will be judged according to how we lived our freedom. Did we use our freedom to pursue God and being like Him? Or did we just abuse it and maximized it for our own selfish satisfactions?
Faith is an invisible thing. It needs to show that others will be inspired and encouraged. After all, it is our task to carry each others’ burden, and to keep ourselves to be an encouragement to others. It will show that we are obeying God. It is what He wants us to do. If we have faith, we will do what He wants us to do. Faith is a trust, which produces compassionate actions.
Faith and Love to God
Not mere emotions.. but actions..
“Love one another as I have loved you..” Jesus said
If we love Him, we will obey Him. (Jn 15) It will show in our actions.
